Valentine's Day in Coral Gables 2027: events, dinners, date ideas

Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on Sunday, Feb. 14. Coral Gables has two signature Valentine’s evenings, both outdoors: the city’s candlelit dinner at the Venetian Pool and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s open-air concert. In 2026 the dinner sold out and Fairchild’s reserved lawn seats did too.

Romance Under the Stars at the Venetian Pool

The city calls it its signature Valentine’s Day dinner and says space is limited. The 2027 date is not out yet.

Garden D’Amore at Fairchild

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, holds Garden D’Amore, its Valentine’s Day concert of romantic ballads and love songs on the lawn. In 2026 it was Saturday, Feb. 14, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., with champagne at sunset, aerial performers and moonlit paths, according to the garden’s event page.

Seating in 2026 came in four types: general lawn for one (bring blankets and low chairs), concert chairs for one, reserved lawn blankets for two and premium tables for two. Members got discounts, and the reserved lawn seating sold out. The garden also offered dinner entrees and a three-cocktail flight on site on Feb. 14.

Daddy-Daughter Dance. The city’s annual dance at the Coral Gables Country Club, 997 N. Greenway Drive, was Friday, Feb. 20, 2026: dinner, dancing and activities for fathers and daughters.
