Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. In Coral Gables the day is built around three things: a garden day at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, a brunch at one of the city’s clubs and gift shopping on Miracle Mile in the week before.

Mother’s Day at Fairchild

Brunch

Coral Gables Woman’s Club Mother’s Day Brunch. The club, at 1001 E. Ponce de Leon Blvd., held its “Golden Age of Cruising” brunch fundraiser on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m., with a buffet and carving station, pastries and desserts, a shopping gallery and a silent auction. Guests were invited to dress in early 1900s formal attire. Proceeds support the club’s projects, including free dental care for children at the Coral Gables Children’s Dental Clinic. Tickets were sold through Eventbrite (city listing).

Brunch with Mom at the Country Club. The Coral Gables Golf and Country Club, 997 N. Greenway Drive, served a buffet brunch with French breads and mini sweets on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., by reservation at 305-722-8785 (city listing). We found no 2026 listing.

Events

Yoga with Mom. Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis hosted a free morning yoga session for moms, grandmothers and the families who love them at Majorca Park, 937 Majorca Ave., from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026. Guests brought their own mats and parked at the Coral Gables Country Club lot, 990 Alhambra Circle (city listing).

Gift shopping and markets

Spring Sip and Shop. On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the city’s evening shopping walk on Miracle Mile paired boutique stops for “Mother’s Day gifts and graduation surprises” with Mexican wine, tequila and mezcal tastings curated by the Consulate of Mexico. Check-in was at 5 p.m. at McBride Plaza, 150 Miracle Mile, and proceeds went to Fundacion Marsoni (city listing).
