Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. Coral Gables has no city-run Father’s Day event, but it does have two things many dads want on the day: two city golf courses, one of them beside the Biltmore Hotel, and a run of Sunday brunch spots downtown.

The Biltmore course hosts the Junior Orange Bowl Golf Tournament, which the city calls the nation’s largest junior golf tournament. Coral Gables residents pay lower green fees at Granada. Both courses post rates on the city pages and say they are subject to change.

Take a Trip Down Memory Lane. The Coral Gables Golf and Country Club, 990 Alhambra Circle, held an early Father’s Day celebration on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon: owners cruised in with classic and exotic cars, with food trucks, refreshments and live cigar rolling (city listing). We found no 2025 or 2026 listing; we will post a 2027 date if the club announces one.

Juneteenth, June 19, is a city holiday on the City of Coral Gables holiday calendar. In 2027 it falls on the Saturday before Father’s Day; the city had not posted its 2027 calendar when we checked.
