Nine alphabetical lists of places to eat inside Coral Gables city limits, from wings and pizza to sushi, bakeries and Giralda Plaza patios.
Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
These are our lists of places to eat inside the Coral Gables city limits, one page per kind of food. Most of the places are downtown: on Miracle Mile, on the Giralda Plaza pedestrian block of Giralda Avenue, on Aragon Avenue and along Ponce de Leon Boulevard. A second cluster sits on South Dixie Highway (US 1) near the University of Miami.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 9, 2026, with places added from the state’s restaurant inspection records. Each list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on one. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
The lists
Wings. Five places, none of them a wing shop: two Domino’s stores on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Papa John’s on US 1, Tap 42 on Giralda Avenue and Titanic Brewery and Restaurant near the University of Miami.
Pizza. Ten pizza places, most within a few blocks of Miracle Mile, from Roman-style and Neapolitan pizzerias on Galiano Street and Aragon Avenue to the delivery chains on Ponce and US 1.
Mexican and Tex-Mex. Five restaurants: three on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coyo Taco on Giralda Plaza and on US 1, and Taco Rico on US 1.
Breakfast and coffee. Nine places, from Threefold Cafe on Giralda Plaza and coffee shops on Ponce and Salzedo Street to Fontana at the Biltmore, the cafe at the Coral Gables Golf and Country Club and two 24-hour Denny’s.
Burgers. Eight places, split between downtown restaurants with burgers on the menu and three burger chains on US 1.
Sushi and Asian. Twelve sushi, Japanese, Thai and noodle restaurants, mostly on Miracle Mile, Aragon Avenue and Ponce, with more on US 1 and Coral Way.
Ice cream and desserts. Eleven gelato, ice cream, paleta, crepe and dessert places, nearly all on Miracle Mile, Giralda Avenue or a block away.
Bakeries. Six bakeries, from Caracas Bakery on Miracle Mile and Bachour on Salzedo Street to Madruga, which mills its own flour, on US 1.
Patios and outdoor dining. Seven places with outdoor seating, five of them on Giralda Plaza.
We did not publish a barbecue list: we could confirm only one place inside the city limits.
Reading the lists
Hours on every list are copied from each place’s own website, never from a review or map site. Where a place has no website, or its site would not load for us, we say so and leave the hours out instead of guessing; those places are on the lists because the state inspected them between July and September 2026. Places whose own sites give a Miami or South Miami address, such as several on Sunset Drive, are not on these lists even when their mail goes to Coral Gables.
